
Anker PowerCore 10000 Recall: What Indian Users Should Know

Anker Innovations has announced a recall of over 1.15 million PowerCore 10000 power banks (Model A1263) sold between 2016 and 2022. The lithium-ion battery inside these units can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards. There have been 19 reported cases of overheating, including fire damage and minor injuries.
While the recall is issued under the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), many Indian users may also have purchased this model online. Anker has not officially issued an India-specific recall yet, but it’s recommended for users in India to:
